NHRA – Bahrain Nursing Licensing
Process

The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) is the governing body in Bahrain responsible for regulating healthcare professionals and issuing licenses. NHRA manages the Primary Source Verification (PSV) process, issues eligibility numbers, and ensures all licensing requirements are met.

The total seating time is 3 hours, including check-in and instructions. The actual exam duration is 2.5 hours.

Applicants must submit completed application forms along with all required supporting documents to NHRA. These are mandatory for beginning the licensing process.

Imprints Academy offers comprehensive and focused coaching tailored for the NHRA exam. Our training includes updated syllabus coverage, mock exams, and personalized guidance to help candidates succeed with confidence.

How the Prometric (NHRA – Bahrain) Exam Works

Eligibility Requirement

Candidates must apply to the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) and submit all required documents. Once approved, NHRA will issue a unique eligibility number, valid for 4 months, which is needed to book the Prometric exam.

Scheduling the Exam

After receiving the eligibility number, candidates can schedule the exam via the Prometric website. A valid passport (with matching name as on application) must be presented at the test center.

Exam Attempts & Limitations

β€’Up to 4 attempts are allowed within 3 years from the first attempt.
β€’If a candidate fails all four, they must complete 6 months of re-training, then may attempt the exam 2 more times within 2 years of completing the training.

Passing Score

The minimum passing score for the Bahrain licensure exam is 60%.
